Disability issues in Nigeria and sub Saharan Africa is often presented on a charitable platform or as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility strategy implemented by companies. This model has not presented significant results to date.
The purpose of this event is to engage with the business community, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, private equity firms, lawyers and the international development partners to sensitise and create awareness to increase the attractiveness of projects that improve the livelihood of Persons with Disabilities. The presentation will highlight the financial feasibility of such projects and showcase that they generate decent Return on Investment while at the same time providing key services that improve the livelihoods of the community. This community is made up of about 35 million Nigerians.
